Cognition Aims for $40B Valuation: AI Coding Revolution Continues
Cognition, Devin adlı AI kodlama aracıyla tanınan startup, 15 ay önce 26 milyar değerlendirmeyle 1 milyar dolar yatırım aldıktan sonra, şimdi 40 milya

Cognition, the startup behind the AI coding agent Devin, is reportedly in talks to raise another funding round with a significant valuation jump after securing $1 billion at a $26 billion valuation in May. According to Bloomberg sources, the new round could achieve at least a $40 billion valuation based on hitting a $1 billion annualized revenue run rate. Three months ago, during its last funding round, Cognition's CEO Scott Wu told TechCrunch that the company had achieved a $492 million annualized revenue run rate and that enterprise customers were growing their usage of Devin by 50% month-over-month for the past six months. Devin is popular among companies for handling long-tail tasks programmers dislike, such as updating legacy software or migrating applications between platforms. The agent is positioned as a tool, not a human replacement, and is used by major firms including Mercedes-Benz, NASA, and Goldman Sachs.
This valuation surge reflects the growing momentum in AI coding solutions. Markets may follow Cognition's success by investing in similar technologies, potentially driving further innovation in the sector.
