Turkish Lira Deposits Reach 11-Year High

The share of Turkish lira deposits in total deposits has reached approximately 62%, the highest level in the last 11 years. Minister Şimşek shared the weekly money and banking statistics published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) on his social media account. Stating that significant progress has been made in the reverse dollarization process thanks to increased predictability and strengthened investor confidence, Şimşek made the following evaluations:
