Bitcoin ETFs Continue Weekly Inflows Despite Late-Week Losses, Market Remains Cautious

U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded their first three-week inflow streak since early May, with $33.79 million in net inflows for the week ending July 24. This figure was significantly lower due to net outflows of approximately $225.2 million and $240.1 million on July 23 and 24, respectively. The previous two weeks saw inflows of $197 million and $75.67 million, making this week's total the smallest in the streak. Institutional demand has returned but remains weak, according to BRN, which noted that 'after May and June's heavy outflows, July's repair phase has brought relief, but institutional demand is still cautious.' Bitcoin rallied to over $66,500 on Tuesday but retreated below $64,000 by the end of the week amid profit-taking and weak stock market action, with the Nasdaq 100 pulled down by chipmaker stocks. Markets repositioned since June, with Binance holding a significant share (~55% of user funds, ~24% of spot) and drawing net inflows early in July, while the tracked market saw outflows.

The anemic inflows suggest Bitcoin's long-term institutional adoption may still require more time. ETF performance will reflect both price volatility and the fluctuating confidence among institutional investors. Binance's positioning highlights how a major institutional player's market behavior can influence broader trends.
