Databricks, son turunda $5 milyar yatırım topladı ve şirketin değerini $190 milyar olarak belirledi. Başlangıçta $1 milyar yatırım hedefi belirlemişti

Databricks closed its latest funding round at $5 billion, valuing the company at $190 billion. The company initially aimed for $1 billion but faced intense investor interest after The Information reported on its fundraising. CEO Ali Ghodsi stated that 'investors showed $15 billion of interest.' The company reported $7 billion in annualized revenue, growing at 80%. Its core cloud data warehouse product alone accounts for $1.5 billion in annual revenue. Databricks also highlighted its AI offerings like Lakebase and Genie, which are driving growth. The company spent $100 million on AI research and continues M&A activity.
Investors are bullish on Databricks' AI and data-centric strategy, seeing long-term potential. The round may delay the company's IPO plans.
