The internet usage rate among 16-74-year-olds surged from 66.8% in 2017 to 92.3% in 2026, while the gender digital divide narrowed from a 16.4-point gap to just 4.9 points. Southeastern Anatolia emerged as a surprise leader in internet access, reaching 97.8%, just behind Istanbul. However, digital learning adoption remains limited.
