ECB's Banknote Design Focus at Frankfurt Concert: How Markets Will React
Avrupa Merkez Bankası (ECB), 20 Ağustos 2026'da Frankfurt'ta düzenlenecek Europa Open Air konserinde kamuoyuyla buluşuyor. Etkinlik, 'Avrupa'yı Kutlam

The European Central Bank (ECB) is set to engage with the public at the Europa Open Air concert in Frankfurt on 20 August 2026. The event, themed 'Celebrating Europe,' brings together music, culture, and community spirit. ECB President Christine Lagarde highlighted the concert's focus on 'Europe's cultural richness and the bonds that unite us.' This year, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a public survey on future euro banknote designs. The proposals are based on two themes: 'European Culture' and 'Rivers and Birds.' The ECB will host an information stand where visitors can interact with experts and share their views on the design process. The event is free and will begin at 16:00 at Weseler Werft.
ECB's public engagement on banknote design could enhance public trust in central banks' digital and fintech innovations. This strategic move may significantly improve the recognizability and credibility of future euro banknotes.
