Turkey's 6-Month Employment Performance Revealed

Turkey's employment market has seen significant developments in the last 6 months. As employment and production increase, investment environment and economy strengthen, Turkey continues to gain strength. Employment and Education Minister Işıkhan shared the data for the period of January-June 2026. During this period, 723,408 job placements were facilitated. Additionally, nearly 400,000 workplace visits and over 1.6 million individual consultations were conducted. The number of open jobs was 1,209,372, the number of individual consultants was 1,320,857, workplace visits were 390,607, the number of people benefiting from job clubs was 41,958, and education institution visits were 8,451. These developments in the employment market indicate that the Turkish economy is showing strong growth. The Ministry of Employment and Education continues to take steps to increase the accessibility of its corporate services to citizens, along with these data. These steps are expected to play an important role in further strengthening the employment market.
