Iraq PM Zeydi Invites Turkish Firms to Investment Opportunities

Iraq Prime Minister Ali Falih ez-Zeydi emphasized the country's significant development process, encouraging Turkish companies to participate in strategic projects. Zeydi highlighted opportunities in airport construction, railway projects under the Development Corridor, the Necef-Kerbelâ metro line, and investments in the electricity sector. He also stressed potential in thermal power plants, solar energy projects, dam construction, and agricultural development. Kalyon Holding Managing Director Lütfi Elvan expressed readiness for major Turkish companies to enter the Iraqi market. Elvan noted that the Iraqi government's efforts to support development goals are significant for investors, and the country's improving investment climate has increased confidence.
The involvement of Turkish firms in Iraq's development goals could accelerate economic growth and strengthen bilateral cooperation. This development may open a new window of opportunities for investors in the region.
