Canola Futures Pressured by U.S. Weather Conditions: How Markets React

Canola futures closed in decline on ICE on Wednesday. U.S. weather conditions impacted vegetable oil markets. November canola futures fell by $11.30 to settle at $771.60 per ton. Canola and Chicago soy oil diverged from crude oil price trends. Rain is expected in the U.S. Midwest this week. Canadian canola crops are in the flowering stage, but not exposed to prolonged high temperatures. Brent crude rose by 7.41%, amid renewed Middle East tensions. Chicago soy oil fell by 1.9%, while soybeans declined by 2.23%. Euronext rapeseed futures gained 0.05%.

U.S. weather conditions remain a key driver in the canola and soy oil markets, reshaping the dynamics of global commodity markets in the oilseed sector.
