Halka açık e-ticaret pazarlama otomasyon devi Klaviyo, seri girişimci Elias Torres tarafından kurulan yapay zeka destekli müşteri başarı girişimi Agen

Publicly traded e-commerce marketing automation giant Klaviyo has agreed to acquire Agency, an AI-powered customer success startup founded by serial entrepreneur Elias Torres, transforming a years-long relationship between the founders into a strategic powerhouse. While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, the move underscores Klaviyo's aggressive vision to deepen its portfolio of AI agents and elevate its product capabilities to a new tier.
Strategic Acquisition and the AI-Driven Growth Engine
Founded in 2023, Agency had raised $32 million from prominent investors including Sequoia, Menlo Ventures, and Felicis prior to the acquisition. As part of the agreement, Agency's team of 25 will join Klaviyo, with founder Elias Torres assuming the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO). Under Torres' leadership, the team is set to accelerate the development of Klaviyo's AI products, such as "Composer," which builds marketing campaigns, and "Customer Agent," which handles post-sale support. From Mentorship to Investment: A Decade-Long Cycle
This acquisition is not merely a technological maneuver but marks one of the rare "full-circle" narratives in Silicon Valley. In 2010 at Performable, Torres hired Bialecki, a recent Harvard graduate, as one of the startup's first engineers and mentored him on early-stage dynamics. Bialecki went on to found Klaviyo, and during its first external funding round in 2015, he invited Torres to participate as an angel investor. This move represents one of the clearest examples of the SaaS world evolving from the "Copilot" revolution to "Autonomous Agents." By combining Klaviyo's massive proprietary customer data with the engineering prowess of Elias Torres' team, a formidable data moat is being created that could revolutionize marketing and customer service operations. This partnership is not just an acquisition; it is a bold statement on the future of marketing automation.
