Labour Urges Investigation of Unlicensed Gambling Firms Tied to Reform UK Donors
Labour Partisi başkanı Bridget Phillipson, Gambling Commission'a iki şirketin lisanssız olarak iş yaptığını iddia eden şikayetleri araştırmasını talep

Labour Party chair Bridget Phillipson has called on the Gambling Commission to investigate claims that two companies linked to Reform UK donors and allies of Nigel Farage operated without a licence. Tether.bet and Fispay have been accused of illegal gambling operations, with Tether.bet posting a closure notice on its website on 12 August and Fispay described as a private jet brokerage. George Cottrell and crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne are among those linked to the companies. Phillipson argued that Reform's financial transparency remains in question, urging Farage to 'come clean with the public'. Cottrell's lawyers denied any involvement in illegal gambling, while Harborne's representatives confirmed no role in the companies' operations. The scrutiny follows renewed attention to Farage's gifts received before the last general election, including the £5m donation from Harborne. This development adds to the ongoing investigation into Reform UK's financial practices.
