Samsun Çarşamba Airport, which handled 1,640,095 passengers and 17,169 flights in 2025, is slated to reach a 3 million passenger capacity.

The new 29,120‑square‑meter terminal will expand the apron from 54,027 to 71,211 square meters, increase aircraft parking from 10 to 14 spots, and boost parking from 246 to 1,506 vehicles.
