Trade Ministry Introduces Appointment System for Disabled Vehicle Imports
The Ministry of Trade is advancing digital transformation initiatives to enhance accessibility for disabled citizens in accessing public services. Specifically, orthopedic disabled individuals can now import specially equipped vehicles duty-free under the relevant regulations. Applications for evaluations by disabled commissions will be submitted via e-Government through the EAIS system. Starting in September, a new appointment system will be implemented, allocating 10 minutes per application. Disabled citizens will be able to select their preferred date and time for commission proceedings. The initiative aims to streamline commission processes, improve application efficiency, and reduce waiting times for citizens. The Ministry remains committed to enhancing service quality through digital applications.
