BitMine's ETH Holdings Surge to 5.77 Million Tokens: Ethereum Staking Strategy and Robinhood Chain Impact

BitMine Immersion (BMNR) has increased its Ethereum treasury to 5.77 million ETH, representing approximately 4.8% of Ethereum's circulating supply of 120.7 million tokens. The company's approximately 5 million ETH holdings are staked, allowing it to earn staking rewards while maintaining one of the largest corporate Ethereum treasuries. BitMine's balance sheet also includes 206 BTC, a $180 million stake in Beast Industries, a $69 million stake in Eightco Holdings (ORBS), and approximately $482 million in cash and marketable securities. Chairman Tom Lee attributes the company's continued focus on ETH to growing activity on Ethereum's layer-2 networks. Notably, the launch of Robinhood Chain's L2 mainnet, built with Arbitrum technology, has seen transaction volumes exceed $1 billion, positioning it as the leading decentralized exchange (DEX) by trading volume. This underscores Ethereum's underlying chain's exceptional utility and product-market fit. BMNR is down 3% as ETH slips 2% over the past 24 hours. In June, CEX trading volumes rose for the first time in five months, with spot volumes increasing 15.3% to $1.11T and RWA perpetual volumes surging to a record $311B.
