Trump Media's Crypto Decline and Investment Strategy: DJT Stock Falls 8%
Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), ikinci çeyrek için **$238 milyon** net zarar duyurdu. Bu sonuç, geçen yıl aynı dönemde kaydedilen **$20 milyon*

Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) reported a $238 million net loss for its fiscal second quarter, dwarfing the $20 million loss from the same period last year. The loss stemmed primarily from declines in non-cash assets, including $190 million in losses from digital assets and securities. Quarterly revenue of $1.7 million came mostly from ad services on Truth Social, an 89% increase from the prior year. However, operating expenses surged 275% year-over-year to $165 million. CFO Phillip Juhan noted the volatility of digital assets heavily impacts costs. TMTG also revealed Truth API agreements with high-frequency trading firms paying $60,000-$100,000/month. DJT stock fell 8% amid crypto volatility, while interim CEO Kevin McGurn emphasized the pending merger with TAE (fusion energy firm) as the company's key long-term driver.
The crypto downturn is testing media companies' financial resilience. TMTG's declining Truth Social traffic and heavy reliance on digital assets present a risky scenario for investors.
