Trump's Crypto Push: SEC and CFTC's New Moves and the Clarity Act Roadmap
Washington'ın kripto endüstrisine yönelik yoğun faaliyetleri, Trump yönetiminin liderliğinde yeni bir döneme işaret ediyor. SEC ilk kez kripto spesifi

Washington's intense focus on the crypto industry marks a new chapter under Trump's leadership. The SEC unveiled its first crypto-specific rulemaking proposal, while Trump hosted industry executives at the White House to push for the passage of the Clarity Act. The CFTC held its inaugural Innovation Advisory Committee meeting, with Chairman Mike Selig warning that if Congress fails to pass the bill, the agency will use its existing authorities to establish a regime for crypto asset markets. On the same day, the SEC proposed Regulation Crypto Assets, a framework for crypto fundraising that would allow certain offerings up to $5 million over four years or $75 million annually without full SEC registration. The proposal also includes a conditional safe harbor for crypto assets once managerial efforts end. The SEC approved this through a seriatim process, but last-minute cancellation of the meeting raised tensions, with concerns that the decision could complicate negotiations over the Clarity Act. Analysts suggest these moves could mark a turning point in the regulation of crypto markets.
