ABD'de haziran ayında dayanıklı mal siparişleri beklentileri aştı ancak yüzde 0,3'lük artışla beklenen yüzde 1,6 yerine sadece 334,8 milyar dolar sevi

U.S. durable goods orders in June rose by 0.3%, missing expectations of a 1.6% increase and reaching $334.8 billion, down from the previous month. The U.S. Commerce Department's data showed that computer and electronic products led the growth with a 3.1% increase, while transportation equipment excluding new orders rose 0.6% and defense excluding new orders increased 0.3%. This follows a 4% decline in May, signaling a potential turnaround in durable goods orders. However, the impact on industrial production remains muted due to the long-term nature of durable goods.
The modest rebound in U.S. durable goods orders suggests lingering effects of the global chip crisis, particularly in technology and defense subsectors. This could temper expectations for tech and materials stocks in the BIST 100. Technical analysis using moving averages and Ichimoku Clouds suggests these data points may play a crucial role in determining the index's near-term direction.
