U.S. and Iran's Military Escalation in the Middle East: New Strikes Targeting Hürmüz Straits and U.S. Military Assets
ABD ordusu, İran'a karşı 8 gecelik saldırı kampanyasının sonunu duyurdu. CENTCOM'a göre, saldırılar İran'ın askeri kapasitesini zayıflatmayı amaçlıyor

The U.S. military announced the conclusion of an 8-day campaign of strikes against Iran. According to CENTCOM, the strikes aimed to further weaken Iran's military capabilities. Targets included Iran's coastal surveillance and air defense facilities, naval assets, and drone depots. The strikes were also a response to attacks on U.S. forces, including the killing of at least 2 U.S. soldiers. Additionally, the campaign sought to degrade Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Hürmüz Straits. Iran, in turn, launched one-way attack drones at U.S. military bases in Kuwait. With over 50,000 U.S. troops still deployed in the region, the ongoing tensions highlight the continued military confrontation between the two nations.
The escalation raises concerns about the stability of regional supply chains and the potential for further geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
