The Castleton Farm, owned by the family of late Ryanair co-founder Tony Ryan, is being sold for $57.5 million. The estate, known for breeding Kentucky Derby winners, features a 1840 Greek Revival mansion, 950 acres of land, 10 residences, 16 barns, and 268 horse stalls. Its historic significance, horse racing legacy, and appearance in the 2005 film 'Dreamer' make it a standout property. Ryan purchased the estate for $14 million and underwent extensive renovations in the 2000s. Now under the management of his son Shane Ryan, the property will be offered at the Keeneland Championship Sale. Ryan was valued at $730 million in 2003 and posthumously estimated at $1.1 billion. This sale underscores the premium value of luxury equestrian assets in the market.
