Army Unit's GTA VI Incentive Program: How It Could Impact Markets
ABD Ordusunun Fort Stewart'daki 9. Mühendis Tugayı, askerlerini GTA VI'nin Kasım çıkışına denk gelecek şekilde dört günlük özel izinle teşvik ediyor.

The U.S. Army's 9th Engineer Brigade at Fort Stewart is offering soldiers a four-day pass in exchange for reenlisting, timed to coincide with the November release of GTA VI. Brigade commanders believe the incentive, which leverages Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick's comments on 'unprecedented' preorder demand, will encourage soldiers to extend their service. Rockstar Games' Netflix gameplay trailer was delayed due to hacked footage leaks. Brigade commander Lt. Col. Ryan Hodgson issued a memo offering 'special 4-day passes' to soldiers. At least 20 of 130 eligible soldiers have signed up, requiring a minimum two-year extension. Lt. Col. Angel Tomko described the program as tapping into soldiers' interests. GTA VI's hype began in 2023 with a return to Vice City and satirical Florida locales.
GTA VI's success could set a precedent for using video games as retention tools in the military. Other branches may follow suit with similar incentives.
