Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu held a strategic meeting with Qatar's Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in Doha. The talks focused on energy, trade, and security cooperation between the two countries. Qatar expressed its support for Turkey's energy security efforts in the Middle East, sharing a joint vision on LNG supply agreements. Turkey encouraged Qatar to take on a more prominent international role, highlighting the future potential of the bilateral relationship. Qatar's energy demand for Turkey is expected to meet %25 of the country's LNG capacity. Turkey's investments in Qatar are projected to allocate %30 to the energy sector. This collaboration will enhance energy security in the Middle East and strengthen Turkey's role in global energy policies.
