The BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul closed the week with a 2.38% decline, settling at 13,981.05 points amid volatile trading. The index fluctuated between its weekly high of 14,265.51 and low of 13,941.98.

Industrial and Services Indices Rise While Finance and Tech Fall

■The industrial index rose 2.28% to 18,761.95, and the services index gained 1.38% to 12,820.06.

■The finance index dropped 4.97% to 19,512.42, while the technology index retreated 2.37% to 46,944.88.

Top Gainers and Losers in Stocks

■Balsu Gıda led the weekly gainers with a 30.99% surge, followed by Efor Yatırım (23.60%) and Margün Enerji (19.20%).

■Destek Finans Faktoring AŞ (-34.31%), Astor Enerji (-12.05%), and Türk Altın İşletmeleri (-7.37%) posted the steepest losses.

■The most valuable firms included ASELSAN (1.602 trillion 840 million lira), Tüpraş (557 billion 325 million 627 thousand lira), and Enka İnşaat (544 billion 200 million lira).

Gold Prices and Currency Movements

■24-carat gold fell 2.45% to 6,053 lira per gram; quarter gold dropped 1.84% to 9,993 lira.

■The dollar held steady at 46,9870 lira, while the euro traded flat at 53,6950 lira. The British pound edged up 0.01% to 63,0360 lira, and the Swiss franc traded at 58,1980 lira.
