CAPE Celebrates 35 Years, Spotlights Asian-Pacific Pioneers in Entertainment

The CAPE 35th Anniversary Gala in Los Angeles honored Asian and Pacific Islander artists and professionals, marking 35 years of the organization's work. Sponsored by Lexus, the event celebrated legends like Randall Park and Manny Jacinto. Founded in 1991 by Wenda Fong, Fritz Friedman, and Chris Lee, CAPE now operates seven programs including the New Writers Fellowship and Showrunner Incubator. The CAPE New Writers Fellowship will mark its 15th anniversary in 2027.
