Corn prices are trading with 2-3 cent gains early Monday morning. Futures settled with contracts steady to fractionally higher at Friday's close. The CmdtyView national average cash corn price remained unchanged at $4.09 1/2.

Corn Exports Show New Movement: USDA Reports 286.097 MT Sale to Mexico USDA reported a private export sale of 286,097 MT of corn to Mexico on Friday, with 29,808 MT for 2026/27 and 256,289 MT for 2027/28.

Corn Market Outlook: NASS Report and Analyst Forecasts Ahead of the August Crop Production report from NASS, a Reuters survey of analysts shows expected yield at 182.4 bushels per acre, with a range of 180.5 to 184.8 bpa. Production is estimated at 15.934 bbu, with harvested acres expected to be trimmed by 76,000 acres.

Managed Money Activity in Corn: CFTC Data CFTC data released Friday afternoon showed managed money adding just 13,547 contracts to their net long in corn futures and options in the week of 8/4. The net long was at 181,946 contracts as of Tuesday.

Dec 26 Corn closed at $4.62, unch, currently up 2 3/4 cents. Mar 27 Corn closed at $4.77 3/4, up 1/4 cent, currently up 2 3/4 cents. New Crop Cash was $4.12, unch.
