Turkey's Darphane ve Damga Matbaası has set a historic production record by minting more than 9.8 million gold pieces in the first half of the year.

■A total of 9,829,183 assorted gold pieces were struck, consuming 33 tons 412 kilograms 853.3 grams of gold.

■Of this, 8,454,870 pieces were jewelry republic gold, 1,362,011 were coin republic gold, and 12,302 were Reşad coin gold.

Jewelry Gold Dominance and the Leading Role of Quarter Gold

■In the jewelry category, 6,222,610 quarter gold pieces were produced, making it the most minted variant across all types.

■The first half saw 898,835 half, 1,288,413 full (one), 44,702 two‑and‑a‑half, and 310 five‑piece jewelry gold released to the market.

■The total weight of jewelry republic gold reached 23 tons 887 kilograms 240 grams.

Niche Share of Coin and Reşad Gold

■Coin republic gold comprised 1,106,670 quarter, 17,582 half, 1,227,909 full, 600 two‑and‑a‑half, and 5,250 five‑piece pieces; the most minted coin type was the full republic gold.

■The combined weight of coin republic gold amounted to 9 tons 322 kilograms 489.9 grams.

■Reşad gold accounted for 1,782 half, 5,960 full, 600 two‑and‑a‑half, and 3,960 five‑piece pieces, totaling 12,302 pieces with a weight of 203 kilograms 123.4 grams.
