Attention Those Awaiting Retirement Pensions: Payments Begin Today!

Retirement pension payments are on the agenda of millions of retirees ahead of the 2026 Eid al-Adha. Following the statement made by the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, the payment schedule for retirees under SGK, Bağ-Kur, and the Pension Fund has been announced. So, when will retirement pensions be deposited? The date on which retirees' pensions will be paid before the holiday emerges as a question eagerly awaited by all retirees.

Retirement pension payments will be deposited into accounts between May 17 and May 22. Both holiday bonuses and the pensions of retirees under SGK, Bağ-Kur, and the Pension Fund will be transferred to bank accounts during this period. The May period salaries and holiday bonuses for retirees under SSK will be paid on different dates according to their payment days. For example, those with payment days on the 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd will receive their salaries on their current payment days. Those with payment days on the 23rd and 24th will receive their payments on May 21st, and those with payment days on the 25th and 26th will receive their payments on May 22nd.

The dates determined for citizens under Bağ-Kur differ. Those with payment days on the 25th and 26th will see their payments in their accounts on May 21st; those with payment days on the 27th and 28th will see their payments on May 22nd. The 2026 Eid al-Adha bonuses for retirees under the Pension Fund (4C) will be paid in a single installment on May 20th. This payment schedule will ensure that millions of retirees receive their pensions on time before the holiday. While retirees await their pensions to be deposited into their accounts before the holiday, the timely execution of these payments will help them celebrate their holiday more joyfully.
