The Presidential Decree introduced a gradual increase in motorin VAT. The rate will be zero for the remaining days of August, then rise to 3 lira in September, 6 lira in October, 9 lira in November, 12 lira in December, and 13,9006 lira from January 2027. The decision suspends the mobile application system for motorin but maintains it for gasoline and LPG. Inflation pressure will be reduced, and the competition power of consumers and industries will be protected. The gradual approach aims to prevent excessive fluctuations and maintain budget discipline.
