Youth and Sports Ministry to Hire 550 Personnel: A Signal of Public Spending Expansion?

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced plans to recruit 550 contract-based personnel for 2026. The hiring will focus on provincial Gençlik ve Spor İl müdürlükler, with 100 dieticians, 150 psychologists, and 300 social workers to be employed. Minister Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak emphasized that the initiative aims to strengthen Turkish sports and youth development. Applications will be accepted via the Presidency Career Gate between July 20-24, 2026. Selection will be based on 2024 KPSS B group P3 scores, with three times the available positions called for oral exams.
