BIST100's 0.27% Drop Yields 20.5039% Return in Top Funds

The Borsa İstanbul BIST100 index fell by 0.27%, while the BIST30 index dropped by 0.63% during the 20-24 July week. Despite the index declines, VOLTRAN KATILIM SERBEST (TL) FUND (BVK) delivered a 20.5039% return, leading the week's top performers. BİRİNCİ KATILIM SERBEST FUND (RBR) followed with a 16.2057% return. Among stock-heavy funds, KARTAL HİSSE SENEDİ SERBEST (TL) FUND (KHT) achieved a 13.8050% return. CİHANGİR SERBEST FUND (YCK) yielded 11.6110%, while YAPI KREDİ PORTFÖY's BÜYÜK ÖLÇEKLİ ŞİRKETLER DEĞİŞKEN FUND (YSH) ended the week with a 7.5291% return.

These fund performances highlight the banking sector's ability to navigate market volatility, providing investors with opportunities even in turbulent times. With commercial credit tightening and macroprudential measures in effect, stock-heavy funds show higher yield potential, while smaller and mid-cap funds appear riskier.
