Japan's Manufacturing Surge Marks 12.5-Year High
Japonya’nın imalat sektörü, **Şubat 2014**’ten bu yana kaydedilen en hızlı büyümeyi sergileyerek **12,5 yıl**ın en yüksek üretim artışını kaydetti. #

Japan's manufacturing sector posted its fastest growth in 12.5 years, achieving the highest production increase since February 2014.
Record-Breaking Manufacturing Expansion
Output rose 4.8% year‑over‑year, while new orders hit their strongest level since January 2022. Companies cite surging demand for semiconductors and artificial intelligence‑related products as the primary driver.
Dual Spike in Overseas Demand
Foreign orders surged to the steepest growth rate in over five years, with Asia and the U.S. emerging as the leading export markets. This geographic diversification bolsters Japan’s trade balance.
Stock and Cost Dynamics: Rise and Squeeze
Input inventories grew at the fastest pace in more than two years, and procurement activity expanded at its highest rate since April 2022. Ongoing conflict in the Middle East keeps input costs elevated, prompting firms to raise selling prices noticeably.
Yen’s Rebound Amid Strengthening Fundamentals
The production and export upswing has fueled expectations of intervention, supporting a rise in the Japanese yen.
Market participants view Japan’s stellar manufacturing performance as a direct signal to central bank policy. The surge in semiconductor and AI‑related demand underpins longer‑term growth outlooks, while cost pressures and a stronger yen could temper inflation risks. Consequently, the Bank of Japan may adopt a more dovish stance in the coming months.
