Qatar has halted its plans to rapidly increase production at the world's largest liquefied natural gas facility following an attack on one of its tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. QatarEnergy held several meetings after the incident, according to a report by Bloomberg News. CEO Saad Al-Kaabi decided to suspend the production increase plans at the Ras Laffan complex, which will continue to operate at a minimum level for security reasons. Sources stated that fewer ships are expected to dock at the facility in the coming days.
