Morgan Stanley's Crypto Offensive: Record Allocation to BlackRock and Ether ETFs
ABD'nin en büyük yatırım bankalarından Morgan Stanley, ikinci çeyrekte dijital varlık portföyünü genişleterek BlackRock'ın Bitcoin borsa yatırım fonun

US investment banking giant Morgan Stanley significantly expanded its digital asset portfolio in the second quarter, increasing its exposure to BlackRock’s Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) by 23% and strategically weighting assets towards Ethereum and Solana.
Wall Street's Strategic Bitcoin Accumulation
According to the 13F filing submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the bank increased its holdings in BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) from 13.4 million to 16.5 million, marking a substantial accumulation move. Despite this increase, the value of the position declined from $667 million to $549 million due to quarterly price drops in Bitcoin.
Diversification into Ethereum and Solana
Morgan Stanley did not limit its crypto asset diversification to Bitcoin, strengthening investments in smart contract platforms. The rise in Ethereum-based products highlights institutional interest in ecosystem expansion.
Rotation in Mining and Infrastructure Stocks
The bank engaged in an active portfolio rotation within crypto mining and infrastructure companies. While exiting some major players, it entered into infrastructure providers.
This filing, following the SEC's spot ETF approvals, confirms that institutional capital is prioritizing regulatory clarity and long-term asset class acceptance over short-term market volatility. Morgan Stanley's portfolio diversification, spanning not just Bitcoin but also Ethereum and Solana ecosystem expansions, signals a structural shift beyond the mere 'digital gold' narrative.
