In its second year, it saw a 726-application surge, a 50% increase over the previous year. Applications came from 39 countries, with Kazakhstan (6) and Uzbekistan (6) leading the pack. AI-focused startups hold 84% of the applicant pool, reflecting the region's rapid tech ecosystem growth. A 14-year-old applicant is among the 89 under-18 founders. Magzhan Madiyev, CEO of Astana Hub, noted, 'This growth signals Central Asia's preparation for global markets.' The competition's winners will compete at TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200 in San Francisco, networking with over 1,000 founders from 39 countries.
