Glen Scotia's 'Tastemaster' Award: Campbeltown's Forgotten Excellence
Glen Scotia'nın Campbeltown Malts Festival Edition 2026 Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Global Spirits Masters yarışmasında 'Tastemaster' ödülünü kazandı.

Glen Scotia's Campbeltown Malts Festival Edition 2026 Single Malt Scotch Whisky has won the 'Tastemaster' award at the Global Spirits Masters competition. This 107.8-proof, 7-year-old scotch, matured in ex-bourbon and Ruby port casks, offers a complex profile of vanilla fudge, bright berry, clove, and coastal brine. Among 39 scotches, this award highlights Campbeltown's forgotten premium status. Bad news for US whisky lovers: the £59 award-winning release was a UK-exclusive for the Campbeltown Malts Festival. However, Glen Scotia's other award-winning 12 and 15-year-old malts are available in the US for under $100.
This award underscores a historic distillery's ability to deliver exceptional maturation even at a young age. For investors: Premium liquor brands with historical regions may offer significant value appreciation potential.
