Turkey has laid the foundation for TÜRKSAT Gölbaşı Data Center, reinforcing its national digital sovereignty. Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu emphasized that this 35,300 square meter facility will become one of Turkey's largest data centers. The center will feature: - 6 system halls, 20-cabin high-performance rooms, and 6,300 square meters of white space.
This digital fortress, Turkey's data center, holds critical importance for national data security and tech sovereignty. The facility will enhance Turkey's international collaborations and is part of the national tech initiative aimed at achieving 1 GW of data center capacity by 2030, reinforcing Turkey's role as a digital powerhouse.
