Alparslan Kuytul Criminal Organization Investigation: 6,000 Reports Sent to CİMER - Turkey's Hidden Networks
Adana Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı'nın yürüttüğü Alparslan Kuytul Suç Örgütü soruşturması kapsamında, CİMER'e 6 bin başvuru yapıldı. İlk ihbar 10 Ekim 2024

The investigation into the Alparslan Kuytul Criminal Organization, led by the Adana Public Prosecutor's Office, has received 6,000 reports to CİMER. The first report was submitted on October 10, 2024. Reports included not only Kuytul's public statements but also detailed information about the organization's internal structure, financial sources, and social media operations. The investigation revealed Kuytul as the 'organization leader' and Erol Ardıç as the 'second-in-command'. The organization was found to have multiple responsibility areas, from general secretariat to accounting, education to logistics, and social media management, operating across 30 cities from Istanbul to Samsun. Financial operations included reports of funds and real estate being transferred using the 'hülle' method. Reports also detailed fundraising activities during Ramadan and Eid al-Adha, including the slaughter of 560 cattle and the distribution of meat. Former members of Furkan Vakfı, which Kuytul headed, testified that he encouraged criticism of state institutions and even clashed with police. They also reported that the organization collected large quantities of animals and meat for the poor but did not distribute them properly. CİMER reports also uncovered the organization's women's wing, with Semra Kuytul as 'General Chair', and highlighted successful students being directed to law faculties and some graduates assisting in legal processes. The investigation found that the organization aimed to reach millions of people across Turkey, with city-by-city conferences expanding its network. Reports suggested the organization's ties to the Iranian Revolution and efforts to position Adana as a center similar to Iran's Kum city. The organization's activities were also reported to interfere with public order. Police units have summoned some informants for further questioning.
The unfolding investigation into hidden networks in Turkey raises serious concerns about public safety and political stability. The detailed scrutiny of such organizations will necessitate more effective monitoring and intervention by public institutions.
