Unsolved Homicides: 36 Cases Resolved, How Markets Could Be Affected?

Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced ongoing efforts to resolve unsolved crimes. Under the coordination of the Office of the Director of Unsolved Crimes, 36 cases have been resolved as of today, involving 41 fatalities and 7 injuries. A 2015 case in Ankara involving 3 intentional murders and 6 attempted murders was re-examined. Investigations into the killings of Hasan Saygın, Muhsin Demirdirek, and Mustafa Çağmaoğlu revealed similarities. Statements, HTS records, and surveillance data were reviewed. The suspect M.Ö., currently serving time for another crime, was identified as the perpetrator of the 2015 incidents. A case involving the murder of Mustafa and Hüsna Ala in Osmaniye on February 13, 2019, was also re-examined. Crime scene photos, missing documents, and witness testimonies were re-evaluated. The suspect Y.K.'s connection to the victims was confirmed. Minister Gürlek thanked the Ankara and Osmaniye Public Prosecutors' Offices, police, and gendarmerie for their efforts.
