Government Reshuffle Signals Policy Realignment in Strategic Sectors
Cumhurbaşkanlığı, kamu sektöründe yürütülen geniş çaplı bir yönetim değişikliği dalgasını Resmi Gazete'de yayımlanan kararla netleştirdi. Bu atamalard

The Presidency formalized a sweeping management overhaul in the public sector through a decree published in the Official Gazette, prioritizing key strategic areas such as foreign affairs, migration governance, and agriculture-forestry. Raziye Bilge Koçyiğit, Director of Foreign Policy Planning and Coordination, was appointed as Turkey's Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe, while Ahmet Demirok, the Ambassador to Turkmenistan, was recalled to the capital. Şener Cebeci assumed the role of Deputy Director for Central Asian Affairs. Within the Directorate General of Migration Management, four department heads were removed, including Yaşar Aksanyar, Ozan Gazel, Bayram Yalınsu, and Fatih Ayna, with replacements including Ahmet Dalkıran, Mehmet Yüzer, Mustafa Güney, and Özge Kaplan. Hakan Nalbantoğlu joined the Board of Directors at the Agricultural Enterprises General Directorate, while Oğuzhan Şatıroğlu stepped down from his post at the Ministry of Trade overseeing Support Services, Liquidation Affairs, and Rotating Capital. Türkiye Raylı Sistem Araçları Sanayii A.Ş. welcomed Murat Durkan, Aysel Kandemir, Murat Baştor, and Aziz Yıldırım to its board, and Fuat Şanal replaced Ahmet Ceylan as head of the Forest General Directorate's Inspection Board. These changes underscore a focus on enhancing fiscal discipline and administrative efficiency, though their success hinges on legislative backing and strategic alignment with broader economic reforms.
Hakan Çelik Analysis: This reshuffle reflects an attempt to strengthen public sector accountability and external economic diplomacy, particularly amid ongoing fiscal pressures. While the appointments signal a push for operational efficiency, their impact on long-term budgetary sustainability and employment dynamics remains contingent on coherent policy implementation and structural reforms in tax and expenditure frameworks.
