Turkey Rolls Out 183.3 Billion Lira Social Security Debt Plan to Bolster Employment

Turkish Finance Minister Bakan Işıkhan announced that between 4 June and 31 August, the 183.3 Billion Lira in Social Security debt has been deferred and installment‑planned, further supporting employers and employees.

With participation from 148,984 employers and 4/b insured workers, the program deferred 183.3 Billion Lira of debt. The first installment collected was 7.5 Billion Lira, easing the cash flow of companies.
