Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı visited the Seydikemer Municipality in Muğla. Yumaklı expressed his pleasure at visiting this beautiful city where agriculture, greenery, and nature come together. Minister Yumaklı announced that they are implementing a 'Residue Action Plan' for sustainable plant protection products. The plan is being implemented in 15 provinces and aims to combat harmful organisms that negatively affect agricultural production. Minister Yumaklı also stated that they have launched the 'B Recipe' application to prevent the uncontrolled use of pesticides. The Minister emphasized that they have reduced the 'RASFF notification' rate, which refers to the return of products from exports, by 74% in the last 5 years. This is considered a significant achievement. Minister Yumaklı highlighted the importance of environmentally friendly, biological, and biotechnological struggles and stated that they have provided 1.9 billion lira in support for these efforts over the last 15 years. The Ministry will continue to provide support. Minister Yumaklı expressed his gratitude to all his colleagues in the Ministry for their dedicated work.
