In the weekly assessment conducted on Borsa Istanbul from July 17th, the BIST 100 index closed at 13,981.05 points, marking a 2.38% increase compared to the previous week. However, significant sectoral divergences were observed, independent of the overall index performance.

Extreme Performance Fluctuations in Food and Energy Sectors

■Balsu Gıda (BALSU) stood out as the top gainer of the week with a 30.99% premium.

■Efor Çay (EFOR) and Margün Enerji (MAGEN) strengthened the food-energy duo with increases of 23.60% and 19.20%, respectively.

■Aksa Enerji (AKSEN) and Ral Yatırım Holding (RALYH) also boosted portfolio performance with gains of 15.09% and 14.12%.

Financial Services Experience Steepest Decline: DSTKF Down 34.31%

■Destek Finans Faktoring (DSTKF) recorded the sharpest decline of the week, falling by 34.31%.

■Astor Enerji (ASTOR) followed with a 12.05% loss; Tureks Turizm (TRALT) and Trend Gayrimenkul (TRENJ) declined by 7.37% and 6.94%, respectively.
