Göknur Gıda Sees Trustee Rule Rescinded Within a Day: Management Control Restored

Göknur Gıda Maddeleri Enerji İmalat İthalat İhracat Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. (GOKNR) surprised the market by announcing that the decision to appoint a trustee to its management was rescinded almost within 24 hours. The company officially reported that it has regained full operational control following the legal process.

Conflicting Judicial Verdicts

The process, which caused short-term uncertainty in company management and could be interpreted as a lack of coordination between Ankara courts, unfolded in the following stages:

■The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) was appointed as a trustee to the company by the decision of the Ankara 6th Sulh Ceza Court dated August 13, 2026.

■This decision gained official status by being published in the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette dated August 14, 2026.

■The Ankara 8th Sulh Ceza Court reversed this appointment with a decision on the same day (August 14, 2026).

Operational Continuity and Return of Documents

Company management emphasized that this rapid legal fluctuation had no negative impact on operations. According to the disclosure made to KAP, all material and legal components returned to their former status upon completion of the process.

■It was confirmed that the current management structure and the company's activities continue as usual without any changes.

■The return of all information and documents belonging to the company, which were submitted to the Public Prosecutor's Office within the scope of the investigation, was ensured.

Such sudden legal interventions and reversals can seriously disrupt commercial credit risk models, especially in SME-scale enterprises.
