The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into alleged irregularities at the AHBAP Association, founded by Haluk Levent in 2017. Before being taken into custody, Levent reportedly purchased flight tickets to Düsseldorf on July 10th at 19:10 and to Hannover later the same evening. Upon learning of a travel ban abroad, he allegedly moved to Izmir and attempted to flee the country via sea. Other suspects' testimonies are expected to be collected first, followed by Levent's final statement.

In fintech and banking, trust is directly linked to data security and oversight in international transactions. Levent's case may highlight concerns about unauthorized access to user data and lack of regulation in cross-border operations within NGOs.
