MKE completed the large-scale production of MPT-76 MH infantry rifles at Kırıkkale Arms Factory and delivered them to the Land Forces Command. This weapon represents the lightweight and improved version of the National Infantry Rifle MPT-76, which entered the Turkish Armed Forces inventory in 2016. As the only rifle in its 5.56 mm caliber to pass 58 tests, including 42 NATO and 16 local standards, MPT-76 MH stands out with its 3.750 grams weight, 500 grams lighter than MPT-76. Its effective range of 600 meters and 750 shots per minute capacity make it operationally preferred.
