Turkey and Iraq to Sign One-Year Oil Pipeline Agreement

Turkey and Iraq are set to sign a one-year agreement to continue the operation of the oil pipeline connecting the two countries. Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar made the announcement on Thursday.
Agreement Details
The current pipeline agreement between the countries is set to expire on 27.07. Bayraktar made a statement during his official visit to Baghdad, saying: "We have brought the agreement, which will cover the next 12 months, to its final stage. We aim to sign it in the coming days." He also added that the flow of oil from Iraq to Turkey's Ceyhan port on the Eastern Mediterranean coast will continue.Economic Impacts
