Tera Portföy's Aggressive Capital Expansion: A 40 Billion TL Vision
**Tera Portföy Yönetimi**, Türkiye sermaye piyasalarındaki konumunu konsolide etmek ve operasyonel kapasitesini radikal bir şekilde artırmak amacıyla

Tera Portföy Yönetimi is embarking on a massive expansion of its capital structure to consolidate its position in Turkish capital markets and radically increase its operational capacity. The company's board of directors has decided to raise the registered capital ceiling from the current 40 million TL to 40 billion TL, initiating the application process with the Capital Markets Board (SPK).
Liquidity Power and Strategic Scaling
Beyond merely raising the ceiling, the company plans an aggressive increase in its actual issued capital. The roadmap to be implemented following the SPK's approval includes the following details:
Transcending Sectoral Standards
Emre Tezmen welcomed the SPK's regulation requiring portfolio management companies (PMCs) to maintain a minimum capital of 500 million TL, emphasizing that Tera Portföy's strategy to far exceed this figure will enhance sectoral competencies. It is anticipated that moving beyond the lower limit—equivalent to approximately 10 million USD—will maximize investor confidence and pave the way for more dominant actors in the market.
This exponential increase in capital structure is not merely a regulatory compliance move, but a 'market maker' vision. From a technical perspective, such a strengthening of equity will elevate the company's leverage capacity and risk management limits relative to its Assets Under Management (AUM). The financial foundation necessary for scaling funds managed via algo-trading and quantitative models is being laid here. Rather than a direct impact on the index, I foresee a recalibration of the competitive dynamics within the portfolio management sector.
