■Carrying the upward momentum into the evening session, the contract settled at 16,243.00 points, signaling today's positive open.

■In global markets, moderate inflation data from the US supports risk appetite, though geopolitical tensions and ceasefire uncertainties in the Middle East limit broader gains.

Critical Technical Thresholds Ahead of Macro Data Deluge

Domestically, all eyes are on the CBRT Inflation Report, current account balance, and weekly money & banking statistics today. Analysts point out key technical levels to watch:

■Resistance Levels: 16,400 and 16,500 points.

■Support Levels: 16,100 and 16,000 points.

This morning's 0.45% gap-up in VIOP is a direct continuation of the institutional block trades we tracked in dark pools and brokerage clearing distributions (AKD) during yesterday's late session.
