Deutsche Bank Warns: 'Goldilocks' Scenario is Fragile - Where Markets Stand
Deutsche Bank'ın makro stratejisti Henry Allen, küresel piyasaların 'goldilocks' senaryosunun (her şeyin yolunda) kırılganlığa maruz olduğunu vurgulad
Deutsche Bank's macro strategist Henry Allen has warned that the global markets' 'goldilocks' scenario (everything is going well) is fragile. The U.S. S&P 500 index is on track to achieve its highest returns in history, suggesting markets may not be adequately pricing future macroeconomic conditions. Allen presented two potential scenarios: First, if global growth remains strong, it could continue to support risky assets, but high growth and loose financial conditions would force central banks to raise interest rates faster. Second, if growth slows, it could lead to significant corrections in risky asset prices. With inflation still above targets in the U.S. and Eurozone, central banks would need to maintain tighter monetary policy to sustain rate hikes. Markets are facing the risk of being caught off guard, as historical inflation levels have often required multiple rate hikes.
