Türkiye'nin savunma sanayii ve teknoloji alanındaki bağımsızlık vizyonunu pekiştiren TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan etkinliği, Gölcük Tersanesi'nde dört günlük
TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland event, which reinforced Turkey's vision for independence in the defense industry and technology, successfully concluded after an intensive four-day program at Gölcük Shipyard.
A New Phase of National Technology Initiative in Gölcük
Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the T3 Foundation Board of Trustees and TEKNOFEST Board, stated in his closing speech at Gölcük that the event, where steel and high technology met with patriotism, proudly concluded in the heart of the navy. Bayraktar extended his gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for illuminating the country's path with the will for a fully independent Turkey and the National Technology Initiative vision, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Gölcük Shipyard.
Turkey's Breakthrough in Autonomous and Unmanned Systems
Bayraktar emphasized that during the four-day event, not only unmanned marine vehicles, underwater rockets, and autonomous systems were showcased, but also the seal of independence of Turkish engineering and youth was imprinted on the destiny of the blue homeland. According to Bayraktar, “Every technological threshold that some called 'a dream,' saying 'you cannot do it,' we overcame together with faith, patience, and unity.” Key achievements highlighted include:
Contribution of Defense Industry Giants and Ecosystem Strength
Thanks were extended to the stakeholders who contributed to the organization, including the Naval Forces Command, Ministry of National Defense, ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, ASFAT, and T3 Foundation volunteers. The collaboration of these institutions showcased the strength of Turkey's defense industry ecosystem and its determination to achieve technological independence. The combination of the youth's intellect, hard work, and patriotism once again demonstrated to the world that they are not only the protectors but also the architects of the blue homeland's future.
Events like TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland are critically important for Turkish defense industry companies to showcase their innovation capacity and the tangible outputs of their R&D investments. The technological advancements displayed by companies such as ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, and ASFAT at these platforms, when viewed from a long-term value investment perspective, provide strong signals for expanding their market share, increasing export potential, and ensuring sustainable growth. Defense industry stocks, in particular, can become attractive candidates for stable dividend payments and potential buyback programs due to government-backed projects and strategic priorities. Such developments have the potential to strengthen the balance sheets of companies in the sector, offering valuable assets for long-term portfolios.
