Global piyasalardaki dalgalanmalar ve döviz kurundaki hareketlilik, Türkiye'nin akaryakıt fiyatlarını yeniden şekillendiriyor. 19 Ağustos 2026 tarihi

Global market fluctuations and currency movements are reshaping Turkey's fuel prices. As of August 19, 2026, the price of gasoline in Istanbul's European side was 71.46 TL, while diesel was 79.73 TL. On the Anatolian side, gasoline was 71.31 TL, and diesel 79.58 TL. LPG prices ranged between 33.79 TL and 33.19 TL. These price increases are linked to rising crude oil prices and successive VAT hikes.
The rise in fuel prices is also impacting the EV market competition. Advances in battery technology and declining production costs could boost EV market share, but this may also exacerbate supply chain tensions. Are markets prepared for this shift? Only time will tell.
